Long Click Definition

As my implementation of the event may be fairly loose in comparison to other systems, here’s a definition of a long click I use.

“Long click” is a mouse (or finger touch) interaction started by pressing down mouse button (or mousewheel or finger) and holding it down until the long click event occours. This happens after a short customizable delay of 0,5 sec (500 ms ± 10 %). If the mouse (or finger) is moved or button (or finger) is depressed during this period, long click is dropped and event falls down to normal click.
