• TPI (Thread Per Inch) - liczba zwojów na cal dla gwintów calowych
• UNF - gwint drobnozwojowy (fine)
• UNC - gwint standardowy (coarse)

Uwagi:

1. Odpowiedniki dobrane są na podstawie najbliższej średnicy zewnętrznej
2. Dla niektórych rozmiarów metrycznych skok 1.5 mm jest normalnym skokiem standardowym
3. Gwinty nie są bezpośrednio wymienne ze względu na różnice w:
   • Średnicach
   • Kącie zarysu (metryczne 60°, calowe 55°)
   • Geometrii gwintu
