This is our 5th semester project on face recognition (AI/ML) which is zipped in a file It has two python files named as face_data_collection.py and Face_recognition.py It has one xml file named as haarcascade_frontalface_alt.xml It has one folder named data
Step 1: Run face_data_collection.py in IDE Step 2: Enter your name in terminal and press 'enter' Step 3: Go to popup windows and wait for minimum 50 counts of images getting captured. Step 4: Press 'q' to exit the window Step 5: Run Face_recognition.py in IDE Step 6: Popup screen will open showing the matched face name with the stored data Step 7: Press 'q' to exit the process

Check the webcam drivers. Reinstall modules Sit straight under proper lighting and wait for 30 seconds
Q. How to exit the window? A. Press 'q' to exit the window. If it doesn't work, kill the terminal and re-run the code. Q. Where facial data gets stored? A. It gets stored inside ./data folder in npy format by the name entered by the user.
