DCE questions for IU

• The spec calls for public lists and private lists, but there's a wider range of options in sharing lists. A list could be searchable by user name (show me all of Jane Doe's lists) and/or by title (show me all lists called something like American History). A list could be shareable via a URLs. Or a list could be hidden from all users except the owner. Which definition fits "public" and which "private" in this system?
• When adding a new item to a list, would you prefer a popup list of lists, or a dropdown list of lists?
