This is a backport of PR #13919 as merged into main (d587e0c).
Fix a rendering issue I noticed in https://docs.pytest.org/en/stable/explanation/goodpractices.html#using-pytest-s-strict-mode.
Also, for some reason
tox -e docsstarted failing for me with some weird error, updating to 3.13 fixes it.
