Notes

• HBase provides a web interface on port 60010 (master) and 60030 (region). So if HBase is running on localhost you can access it under http://localhost:60010 and http://localhost:60030.
• Loopback IP must be 127.0.0.1. This is not the case for current Ubuntu versions. See Why does HBase care about /etc/hosts?
