  • Removed vLib
  • Removed xLib
  • added Linux support for get_file (or such) in cLib
  • Improved Linux, Windows, macOS query.json path detection + app detection - no longer hardcoded
  • When detecting multiple query.json locations, offer a dropdown for selecting
  • Added Midi Mappings for opening dialog, loading selected sample with prompt or without prompt, searching selected sample, or toggling auto-transfer on/off.
  • Added Menu Entries to Sample Editor, Instrument Box, Sample Navigator, Menu Entries for the above
  • Added "Load Selected Sample in Sononym to Selected Sample Slot" to Sample Navigator
  • Added "Create New Instrument" setting for each sample (manually loaded, or auto-transfered)
  • Added "Create New Sample Slot" setting for each sample (manually loaded or auto-transfered)
  • Tweaked the interface and optimized it, adding Open Path
  • Sononym now cleanly starts if not open - meaning most of the Sononymph About Dialog instructions were redundant, thus:
  • Removed Sononymph About Dialog and added the links to Sononym Documentation + Sononymph Renoise Forum tool post directly to the interface.

@bjorn-nesby have a look. Thanks!

ok, turns out the tool exporter can't handle 1.1.0 - so 1.10 it is.

You're still relying on cLib, so I would leave that in the .gitmodules file.
Otherwise the tool will be broken when doing a checkout.

hi, the reason why i roll cLib in, is because i've made a change to cLib itself so that linux works. there was a todo there. cLib repo seems to be archived, so i don't know how to proceed with that @bjorn-nesby - should i try to revive the repository or something? i'm not sure how to do any of it. how do i contribute an improvement to cLib?

Hey, and sorry for not getting back to you. I am not even sure why the cLib/etc. repositories got archived, but I’m going to look into this next week (currently enjoying a bit of vacation).

hi, any chance you could look at why cLib vLib xLib have been archived? they have unmerged PRs with fixes.. i mean, i could fork all of them and try and merge in the PRs, but feels like an official solution would be better @bjorn-nesby
