Security Protocol

Overview

The security protocol uses a timestamp, an HMAC, and a HOTP. The timestamp prevents replay attacks, the HMAC ensures data integrity, and the HOTP authenticates the user. The login method sets up the HOTP. logout resets the HOTP for that specific instance. resetPassword resets the HOTP for all instances as well as the users password.
