The Documents folder has Original Source material to help understand the time table, and for contributors to develop the Project further
These original BR documents give the engine duties for the Loco sheds responsible for services. Each shed hasan EWN and a number block allocated, and individual duties define the daily loco tasks and crew . format a .pdf
Carriage working notices are similar to EWN, but giving the formation of trains arranged by stations. Changes to train composition can be traced. The carriage rake`s previous and next service is detailed. Format a folder with .jpg The CWN is supported by the CWN appendix which gives extra info such as the carriage set numbers used for a service. format .pdf SR_sets_c1956 gives the individual carriage numbers comprising a carriage set. From this the exact type of vehicle can be found. format .ods excel spreadsheet
The timetable is compiled from this. It has the name Nfxx where xx is an increasing alpha numeric for each version. (Currently NfI3) . Users familiar with spreadsheets can gain useful understanding. Each train has one or more timetable columns . The spreadsheet is commented with explanations. Frequently a train is split over several columns to make manageable for tt mode, The spreadsheet is saved as a text.csv and renamed for OR in game as a .timetable-or. Timetable-or files can`t be read, being a mass of text. Only try to read the .ods. Format .ods can be read by free programs Libre Office or Open Office. The timetable editor included with OR can not read these big files #
