Hi @mbeutel, do you still plan to work on this? If not in the near future, I think we can close the PR and then you can reopen if you plan to work on it.

Pardon me – I haven't had any time for this, and unfortunately I won't have time to work on it in the foreseeable future. Also, the preliminary result of the discussion in #317 was that this should be implemented as a separate module.
