His current dissertation research examines the economic modernization and urban development within the American South in the post-World War II era, focusing on the Greater Orlando area. His research focuses on the growth and transformation of Orlando’s urban landscape and the persistence of social, political, and economic inequalities that impact the lived reality of the local populace, particularly for African Americans.
