This release contains a specific derivate of SPECFEM3D Cartesian which supports Fourier transformed wavefield output for later use in full waveform inversion with the ASKI software. It also accepts wavefields computed with GEMINI for injection at the boundaries of the SPECFEM mesh allowing hybrid forward modeling of teleseismic wavefields through regional domains.
A detailed documentation on how to use this version of SPECFEM
together with ASKI
and GEMINI
is provided with the ASKI software. Python scripts helping with organising SPECFEM runs can also be found there.
