- Interstage decoupler. Replaces engine fairing with a dual-stage decoupler. First stage event separates from the lower tank using decoupler and ullage engines. Second stage event (automatic) separates the decoupler from the upper-stage using decoupler and retro-rockets.
- Unsure how to handle angled sections -- need a straight segment for proper thrust transform setup (so as to not roast the top tank with the retro-rockets). Might mandate at least a 1m 'straight' portion on the bottom and allow a split from that point up.
