A series of utility ship parts, including fuel tanks, docking ports, RCS, science experiments, parachutes, and various fairings and adapters.

SC-TANK - Modular Fuel Tank

Customizable standard-type fuel tank. Includes options to change tank diameter, adjust length, and swap out the top and bottom cap types.

  • Integrated Bottom Fairing
  • Integrated Selectable Nosecone or adapter
  • Integrated Selectable Mount or adapter
  • Adjustable Diameter(0.625m - 10m)
  • Adjustable Height - 0.5xdia to 8xdia in 0.5xdia increments (e.g. 1.25m diameter tank available in 0.625 - 10m lengths, in 0.625m increments)
  • Selectable Fuel Type - Can adjust fuel type in the editor, and optionally in flight (config setting).
  • Tank Contents Jettison function - Optional Config Setting

SC-MUS-CB - Modular Upper Stage - Common Bulkhead

Customizable common-bulkhead style upper stage (Centaur Upper Stages).

  • Integrated RCS
  • Integrated probe-core/SAS
  • Integrated fuel cell (with dedicated monopropellant reserve for the RCS+fuel-cell use)
  • Integrated Bottom Fairing

Customizable split-tank style upper stage (Delta-IV CSS).

SC-DC - Procedural Decoupler

SC-RBDC - Radial Booster Decoupler

SC-ISA - Interstage Petal Adapter

SC-IDC - Interstage Decoupler

  • Interstage decoupler. Replaces engine fairing with a dual-stage decoupler. First stage event separates from the lower tank using decoupler and ullage engines. Second stage event (automatic) separates the decoupler from the upper-stage using decoupler and retro-rockets.
  • Unsure how to handle angled sections -- need a straight segment for proper thrust transform setup (so as to not roast the top tank with the retro-rockets). Might mandate at least a 1m 'straight' portion on the bottom and allow a split from that point up.

SC-DP-1A - 1.25m Active Docking Port (has tongue/plates that retract for latching compression) -- needs plugin w/ parachutes - ~6t load capacity

SC-DP-0P - 0.625m Passive Docking Port w/ parachutes - ~4t load capacity

SC-DP-0A - 0.625m Active Docking Port - Probe type w/ parachutes - ~4t load capacity

SC-DP-2P - 2.5m Passive Docking Port - Universal - Includes parachutes / lights / camera
