Why do we manage (some) questions on the issues page?

Leighton Pritchard edited this page May 6, 2022 · 1 revision

GitHub issues pages are persistent and remain associated with the repository. Asking and answering questions on these pages:

  • gives us a record of which questions have been asked (and how they have been answered)
  • keeps questions in a single location for easy reference
  • provides a searchable resource so that people who might have similar questions in future can see previous answers
