All behaviours that touch ROS must extend the ROSBehaviour class. Please separate the subscription into its own script that does this. A simple example here. (This is obviously a publisher and not a subscriber, but I'm sure you can figure that out ;) )

Thanks for the suggestion.
I restore the Winch.cs and create a new Winch_sub.cs under the ROSBehaviour class, and also add into Unity inspector but the winch system still does not work.
Could you give me any suggestion? thanks a lot : )
