Contrast

DirectWrite and GDI contrast can now be modified separately. This setting changes the contrast of the whole font (both edges and stroke weight):

• Higher settings make fonts sharper with lighter stroke weight, and tuning too high can lead to colored font edges
• Lower settings can make fonts less sharp (depending on other settings especially GammaValue), and with darker stroke weight

Example use:
