Overview of Tejaas

Tejaas provides a software suite for trans-eQTL association analysis using reverse regression and forward regression, along with several preprocessing and confounder correction utilities.

Tejaas is implemented in Python 3 and C++. The software is released under the GNU General Public License version 3.

Getting started with Tejaas

If you are new to Tejaas, we recommend taking a look at the introductory Tejaas tutorial. This tutorial gives an overview of the main features of Tejaas, and illustrates how Tejaas can be used to quickly perform a trans-eQTL association analysis.

If you would like to try Tejaas for yourself, follow the installation instructions to download and set up Tejaas on your computer. Then return to the introductory tutorial and try implementing the example on your computer.

If you would like to use Tejaas for your project, we provide:

• additional tutorials for setting up Tejaas on SLURM cluster
• notes on parameter choice (in progress)
• a FAQ page (in progress)
• a complete example illustrating how Tejaas can be used on the publicly available GEUVADIS data. (in progress)
