Hi, I am August! I'm a software engineer who is passionate about making open-source more accessible and building community, online & offline. I am currently pursuing a computer science degree and working on creating approachable learning material through a combination of open-source, articles, and tutorials. Outside of work I volunteer my time as a citizen scientist on iNaturalist, BugGuide, and Wikipedia.
