Socialgorithm provides a platform to run technical workshops where students code an algorithm to compete on a specific game, these algorithms then play against each other automatically in a tournament.

The goal is that students learn about the algorithms that can be used to play these games, which range from simple heuristics, Monte Carlo Tree Search, genetic functions, neural networks... depending on the game. During the event, mentors from different tech companies volunteer to help the students write their algorithms, and tell them about their experiences in their companies, providing very useful insights into what it's like to work in them.
