Welcome! I am Bernhard, one of the Gambit mentors and an early contributor to the Gambit project since it started with Richard McKelvey (no longer alive) around 1990. I also met Ted Turocy there, then a student at Caltech, who has since become the maintainer of the gambit project. My main contributions are on the development of algorithms for find equilibria in games. Specifically, I found (to some extent re-discovered) the "sequence form" which is a strategic description of an extensive game which has the same size as the game tree, as opposed to the common "strategic" or "normal form"
