- Updated package.json to replace Mocha and Expect with Jest, including new test scripts and Jest configuration. - Refactored test files to replace deprecated Expect syntax with Jest-compatible assertions. - Enhanced test coverage configuration for Jest. - Removed old upgrade scripts and upgrade plan documentation as they are no longer needed.

With the help of GitHub Copilot this PR updates the packages to newer versions.
Also added a CI using GitHub Actions and added a few more tests.
