!IMPORTANT! Klipper users should double check if their config allows for a 230x225 bed. Otherwise you'll likely have a bad time

Changelog

  • Add M420 S1 (restore bed leveling) to Marlin profile (#37) (#35)
  • Improve top surface finish (#33) (#39)

Usage on print settings

There are 3 categories of print settings: slow, medium or fast. The faster you print, the less dimensionally accurate your print will be and the worse your print will look. For a good middle ground, pick medium

There are mutliple layer heights available to pick from: 0.1mm, 0.16mm, 0.2mm and 0.24mm. The smaller value you pick, the less layer lines will be visible, but the longer the print will take. For a good middle ground, pick 0.2mm

For most prints, the Normal 0.20mm profile will be sufficient

Install instructions

Automatic (Experimental)

  1. Download PrusaSlicer_config_bundle.ini
  2. Open PrusaSlicer, press File (in the top left) > Import > Import Config Bundle
  3. Select the PrusaSlicer_config_bundle.ini that was downloaded in step 1

Manual

  1. Make sure to have PrusaSlicer installed, opened at least once and followed the initial setup guide
  2. Download the file Source code (zip)
  3. Open up windows search and type in %APPDATA%, then press enter

Changelog

  • Changed bed size for Klipper profile
    • !IMPORTANT! Klipper users should double check if their config allows for a 230x225 bed. Otherwise you'll likely have a bad time
  • Label objects for selective printing
  • Change fill pattern to cubic (#9)
  • Nozzle now sits close to the bed while heating to prevent filament from drooping out
  • Remove purge line
  • Increased skirt lines (1 -> 2) (to use as a purge line)
  • Bed heats to target temp before home (marlin)
  • First layer speed 30mm/s -> 20mm/s
  • Top layer speed 50mm/s -> 40mm/s
  • Second layer speed 100% -> 50%
  • Third layer speed 100% -> 75%
  • End of print is way different
    • Previously, the head just moved up a tremendous amount
    • Now, the extruder retracts a little, wipes and retracts, moves up 10mm then presents the print.
    • Hopefully, this results in there being no wisp of string coming out the top of a print

  • More filament profiles have been added to better dial in the temperature for your filament. This seems very important for stringing
  • A slow profile has been added to print parts more accurately

This is far from perfect, but works well enough to at least print stuff
