This is a new release of Emfy after almost one and a half years! Emfy is a do-it-yourself Emacs starter kit to quickly set up Emacs for general purpose editing and programming.
This release comes with some minor changes and additions. The variable require-final-newline
is now set to t
, so that files with newlines missing at the end are automatically updated with a trailing newline while saving them. Further, the color scheme of incremental search matches has been updated to have more contrast so that the matches are easier to spot and navigate through. Also, by popular demand, the menu bar is now left enabled because it helps beginners to discover new features.
