    • The current goal:

      • Data Types RFC in draft.
    • update on current WIP

      • RFC-12 Publisher-Subscriber protocol - no news, waiting to be reviewed by Vincent,
      • RFC-13 Publisher-Subscriber protocol implementation with ZMQ - no news,
      • RFC-8 Device server - Lorenzo was working on that. Vincent and Lorenzo are going to meet to merge two existing PRs,

  3. AoB:

    • Follow-up of the discussion from the previous meeting:
      • The Tango Controls Community meeting in Petersburg is a deadline for closing the current opened RFCs including RFC-10.
        • we should be ready with RFCs up to 1 - 15, except RFC-11 (CORBA implementation of the request-reply protocol) which is not as important as other RFCs for starting prototyping of Tango v10.
      • In the 2nd half of the year, (a) prototype(s) will be developed
      • In Petersburg, in addition to the status of the RFC project, the following will be presented:
        • how the RFC can be used for existing sites to help in current development,
        • how the spec of v9 can be used to provide a spec for v10,
        • possibly presentation on how the architecture proposed by Igor and Olga fits the RFCs,
  4. Next meeting: 23.03.2020 as usual. In the meantime, (2020-03-10) ACTION: Piotr will send a poll to check if rescheduling is needed.
