KickBacker, a Kickstarter clone, is a crowdfunding platform that allows content creators to post their dream projects that they would like others to help bring to life by meeting their funding goal. Users can search for and view other users' projects by category as well as back them for a reward.
- Users can sign up, sign in, log out
- Users can use a demo login to try the site
- Users can't use certain features without logging in (creating and backing projects)
- Logged in users can create projects
- Users can view a list of all projects
- Users can view individual projects
- Logged in users can edit existing projects if they are the project's creator
- Logged in users can delete existing projects if they are project's creator
- Logged in users can back other users' projects
- Creators can include rewards for each backing tier on their project
- Logged in users can choose a reward when backing another users' project
- Users can search for projects by name through a text field
- All projects are organized by category
- Users can search for projects by category
- Users can get recommended projects via category
- Logged in users can 'like' projects
- The like count is displayed for each project
- Users can comment on projects
- When a user backs a project they can fulfill payment via credit card
