Through Max' Java API access is given to Max' messaging and audio interfaces.
Since Mac OS 10.ccc, Java is no longer pre-installed, and must be installed by the user. Furthermore, only the 64-bit version of the newest Java versions is available. If required, an older, 32-bit version of Java can be downloaded from ... .
