Here we will collect information about building our Singularity images for LOFAR data reduction. The recipes are universal and should be depolyable on a variety of systems. Do not there may be incompatibilities on older hardware due to certain CPU instructions not being available. Keep this in mind when selecting the architecture on which the container is built. If specific compatability is needed, one can create a virtual machine in order to emulate the older hardware.
