A fish species classifier based on ResNet50.
This is a machine learning model to classify 20 fish species, and it is also able to distinguish between fish and non-fish. I utilized Python, Keras and TensorFlow in development. Data preprocessing, supervised learning techniques, and MobileNet were also employed.
This mobile application is developed as part of our final research project. Its primary function is to classify images of fish commonly found in the Philippines. Users can either take real-time photographs or upload images from their gallery for classification.
