R package for interacting with the parentage analysis software Cervus from within an R environment
FaMoz (an acronym for "Father/Mother") a software for parentage studies, written in the C language and in TclTk, uses likelihood calculation and simulation to perform parentage studies with codominant and dominant markers (Gerber et al. 2000, Gerber et al. 2003)
I used genetic tools to compare relative levels of post-stocking fitness among three groups of hatchery-reared brook trout: F1, F2, and domestic strain. I used genetic parentage analyses to identify parent-offspring relationships between stocked fish and wild-born offspring.
