Learning Outcome

• This collaborative project aims to enhance our proficiency in JavaScript, particularly in DOM manipulation, and to reinforce our skills in utilizing Bootstrap for responsive and visually appealing web design. As part of our review, we will create an e-commerce site.

Technologies Used

JavaScript and DOM Manipulation

• Our primary focus will be on JavaScript, utilizing its capabilities for DOM manipulation. This involves dynamically updating the content of our website to provide a seamless and interactive user experience. Through this project, we aim to strengthen our understanding of event handling, selecting and modifying DOM elements, and asynchronous operations.

Bootstrap

• We will incorporate Bootstrap to ensure a responsive and aesthetically pleasing design for our bakery website. Bootstrap provides a robust framework for creating modern and visually appealing user interfaces, enabling us to streamline the development process and achieve a professional look and feel.

Project Structure

The project is structured to allow for parallel development, with each team member responsible for specific aspects of the website.

Responsible Developers: Tina Nguyen(Me) and Noel Guillen.

JavaScript and DOM Manipulation:

• Task: Implement dynamic content updates, event handling, and asynchronous operations using JavaScript.

Bootstrap Integration:

• Task: Utilize Bootstrap to create a responsive and visually appealing design for the website.

Local Storage:

• Task : Collaboratively utilizing local storage to seamlessly synchronize and persist user cart data.

Data Retrieval and Object Creation:

• Task: In constructing our website's content Noel created a custom API for this project with rapidAPI.
