Based off #43 (merging this will also merge that one's changes (closes #42 closes #43)).

  • Adds type declarations
  • Builds the esm version addition to the cjs version
    • Ensures compatibility with node versions down to 14.15 (LTS)
    • Ensures the banner's copyright year is up to date
