Problem statement

What's new page is out of date after recent page merge and reworking how content can be added. Need new news items added.

Solution

Blurbs were written up for events from October and November, reviewed and approved with feds and posts were created.

• Confirm the content is correct and relevant and links work.

Hi @amyleadem - I worked on this. It's looking good, but I found some things:

1. Can't use a colon (:) in a title. I get a yml error.
2. Links aren't working in the excerpt. Is it bad markup on my part?
3. I tried to leave a preview URL out for the Sunsetting 1.0 post and it links to a page. I think you said it's something you can accommodate individually for now. Is that so?
4. I realized that tags are what display on the page above the blurb, not categories. Can we talk about categories vs tags?

We can catch up on this whenever. Would love to on Friday (tomorrow, if you have time!)

Hi @amyleadem , I made two small changes to the release posts. Just having the excerpt repeat the title wasn't working. I can add back in the branch if desired.

Replace excerpt copy with this:

Updates include: Date picker accessibility fix, accessibility and usability improvement to memorable date and new setting for custom breakpoints.

Replace excerpt text with this:

We fixed a bug on file input image previews, updated the order of combo box search results and updated the time picker hint text to improve clarity.

Update: I had to create an alternative PR in #3064 to address some technical issues. @finekatie are you ok with closing this PR in favor of #3064?
