RuffSurf
This is a graphical user interface written by Matthew Morriss to calculate surface roughness from an imported DEM. There is not extensive documentation with this program. However, in its current state it should run on most windows machines. It has a frozen version of python and all the necessary packages needed to operate.
There are 5 steps to running the program successfully:
- Choosing a DEM
- Uploading that DEM
- Choosing method for measuring surface roughness
- Choosing window size
- Click Run
INPUT:
It is important that the input file be a .tif file, projected in UTM and preferably clipped into a square or rectangle.
