CurveAlign 6.0Beta2
2024.03.22--release of CurveAlign6.0Beta-Win64-2024.03.22build
For the CurveAlign 6.0 Beta, this release contains only Windows 64-bit APP compiled with MATLAB 2023b . Mac and Linux APPs will be released later.
For the CT-FIRE 4.0, its basic functionality (not including ROI analysis and advanced post-processing) can be launched from CurveAlignmain GUI. The full functional, independent CT-FIRE 4.0 package will be released later.
Main new features include:
- Individual cell-based fiber analysis
- Fiber intersection points detection
- Auto-threshold for CT-FIRE analysis
- Bio-Formats MATLAB Importer and Exporter
- Visualization of features
- Fiber density analysis
2024.0720-release of CA6.0Beta2_standalone_20240720build
Contains only Windows 64-bit APP compiled with MATLAB 2023b .More features are added in the Cell-fiber analysis. For testing only.
2024.0722-replace the 20240720 build with the 20240722 build
Fix a compilation bug and update the user's quick manual for cell-fiber analysis module (for testing only at this moment)
CurveAlign 5.0 and corresponding linked CT-FIRE 3.0
For the CurveAlign 5.0, this release contains one Windows 64-bit APP, one Mac (intel chip) APP built with MATLAB 2018b, one Mac (intel chip) APP built with MATLAB 2021b, and one Mac (Apple M chip) APP built with MATLAB 2023b.
For the CT-FIRE 3.0, its basic functionality (not including ROI analysis and advanced post-processing) can be launched from CurveAlign 5.0 main GUI. The full functional, independent CT-FIRE 3.0 packages were built with Windows system( 64-bit, Matlab2018b), old Mac system(intel core, MATLAB 2021b), and new Mac system(Apple chip, arm64, MATLAB 2023b).
Recommended standalone apps have a link on top of their names in the update notes below. Follow the instructions on the Curvelets home page for the usage.
2024.09.06: Built CurveAlign5.0 Beta2 (apple M chip arm64,MATLAB mcr 2023b) and CT-FIRE 3.0Beta2 (apple M chip arm64,MATLAB mcr 2023b).
2024.06.07: fix a stack analysis issue for both CT-FIRE 3.0 and CurveAlign 5.0. New APPs built on 20240607 are recommended to all users. To be noted, the version compiled in MATLAB 2018b might yield a slightly different result from the one compiled in MATLAB 2021a likely due to the MATLAB compatibility. To obtain identical analysis, users should use the APPs compiled with the same version of MATLAB. Current standalone recommandations: CT-FIRE 3.0 MATLAB 2018b windows standalone 20240607build, CurveAlign 5.0 MATLAB 2018b windows standalone 20240607build, CT-FIRE 3.0 MATLAB 2021b MacIntel standalone 20240607build, and CurveAlign 5.0 MATLAB 2021b MacIntel standalone 20240607build
2023.08.21: for MAC users, the CT-FIRE 3.0 and CurveAlign5.0 compiled with MATLAB MCR 2021a are recommended.
2023.02.28: updated the manual.
2021.05.07: added the test release of the command line mode (from branch CAparallel).
2022.3.23: added CurveAlign 5.0 new standalone built on MAC OS Big Sur with MATLAB 2021a for testing.
2022.05.09: added CT-FIRE 3.0 new standalone built on MAC OS Big Sur with MATLAB 2021a for testing.
2022.05.09: added sorted source code (without CurveLab) for both CT-FIRE 3.0 Beta and CurveAlign 5.0 Beta.
2020.08.08 Release notes:
compiled in MATLAB 2018b
add automatic tumor boundary creation using HE and SHG image-pair
add density analysis module in CurveAlign ROI manager
add synthetic fiber generator in CT-FIRE
add fast fiber estimation in CT-FIRE
CurveAlign 4.0 and corresponding linked CT-FIRE 2.0 based on the release published in 2017
For the CurveAlign 4.0, this release contains one Windows 64-bit APP and two Mac APPs built with MATLAB 2014b. The Windows 64-bit app was tested on Windows 7, 8 and 10 and was working well. The Mac package includes two Mac APPs, one was built on macOS 10.12.6, the other was built on macOS 10.15.7. The former is a stable version tested on macOS10.12.6, 10.13.6 and 10.15.4, the latter is not fully tested but might be acted as a workaround for systems that encounter installation/launching issue.
For the CT-FIRE 2.0, its basic functionality (not including ROI analysis and advanced post-processing) can be launched from CurveAlign 4.0 main GUI. The full functional, independent CT-FIRE 2.0 packages built with MATLAB 2014b are provided for Windows 64-bit system and Mac system. The Mac package includes the two Mac APPs, one was built on macOS 10.12.6, the other was built on macOS 10.15.7 to address some possible compatibility issues.
