YouTube Timestamp Bookmark Extension

This Chrome extension allows users to easily bookmark specific timestamps while watching YouTube videos. Users can save these timestamps with custom labels for easy reference later. Clicking on a saved bookmark will navigate directly to that timestamp in the video and start playing it from there.

Installation

To use the YouTube Timestamp Bookmark Extension, follow these steps:

1. Clone or Download the Repository:

   • Clone the repository:

     git clone https://github.com/vaishnaviprakash12/TimeMark.git

   • Or download the ZIP file and extract it.

2. Load the Extension into Chrome:

   • Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
   • Enable Developer mode by clicking the toggle switch in the top right corner.
   • Click the Load unpacked button and select the directory where you cloned or extracted the extension.

3. Use the Extension:

   • Navigate to a YouTube video.
   • Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
   • Click the "Bookmark Timestamp" button to save the current timestamp.
   • Optionally, add custom text to the bookmark for easier reference.
   • Click on any saved bookmark to navigate directly to that timestamp.

Usage

1. Bookmarking a Timestamp:

   • Play a YouTube video and click the extension icon.
   • Click the "Bookmark Timestamp" button. You can add custom text in the provided field.
   • The bookmark, along with the custom text, will appear in the list below.

2. Navigating to a Bookmark:

   • Click on any bookmark in the list to open the YouTube video at that specific timestamp.

3. Editing or Deleting a Bookmark:

   • To edit a bookmark, click the edit icon next to the bookmark and modify the custom text.
   • To delete a bookmark, click the delete icon next to the bookmark.
