## Secretary responsibilities

The Secretary of the club must fulfil the responsibilities as follows:
### Taking minutes
Focus on recording the most noteable points of the meeting:
* Tasks
* Description of task
* Who it has been assigned to
* The expected completion date
* Descisions
* The issue being decided upon
* The decision made
* Reasoning behind the decision
* Points of contention, disagreement
Record minutes in Google Docs. The file name should be the date the meeting took place, and the first part of the minutes should contain the date, time, location, those present, and those who have excused themselves from the meeting. If the Secretary is unable to attend a meeting, it is their reqponsibility to delegate minute-recording to an appropriate and willing attendee.
### Publishing redacted minutes for public view
Redacted minutes are required to be published on github in accordance with the Club Constitution. This should be done as follows:
* Redact the following information by replacing words with "\[REDACTED\]":
* Names or contact information of external parties (not a member of the Committee) unless otherwise requested by said external party
* Names or contact information of members of the Committee who request their personal information to be redacted
* Financial figures
* Other information requested to be redacted by a majority of the Committee
* Download the redacted version of the minutes as a PDF file. Make sure to save the non-redacted version in the Google Drive for exec use.
* Upload the redacted PDF to the Club github repository.
