As a graduate student in Computer Science at San Jose State University, I am exploring the potential of large language models (LLMs) for natural language processing applications. For my master's thesis, I am fine-tuning Llama2, a state-of-the-art LLM, on a domain-specific corpus to improve its performance and accuracy. I am passionate about learning new skills which led me to take multiple courses on data science, machine learning, and web development, using Python, R, HTML, and various programming languages such as Java, C++, and C# as part of my undergraduate and master's coursework. I have also dabbled in Linux and computer networking.
I am also a full-stack Salesforce developer with four years of experience in developing and deploying web applications, data processing systems, and collection strategy frameworks on Salesforce, using Visualforce, Apex, Lightning, and Tableau CRM. My expertise in SQL, MySQL, and database management allows me to optimize performance, enhance user experience, and generate real-time insights for various clients, resulting in increased revenue, productivity, and efficiency. I am proficient in using Git for version control and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
In addition, I am a Student Assistant - AV Tech at SJSU, where I specialize in operating advanced audio, lighting, and video equipment for live events. This role has helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, as I often work with diverse groups of people to ensure successful event execution. My strong foundation in programming, engineering, and information technology enables me to quickly adapt to new technologies and solve complex problems.
