Getting Started

You will need both JavaFX and Java versions 12 or newer, older versions not tested. JavaFX: https://gluonhq.com/products/javafx/

Prerequisites

Instructions for setting up environment variables for JavaFX can be found here: https://openjfx.io/openjfx-docs/#install-javafx

Compiling from command line

• windows

javac --module-path %PATH_TO_FX% --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.fxml Shakkipeli/Main.java

• linux

javac --module-path $PATH_TO_FX --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.fxml Shakkipeli/Main.java

Running from command line

• windows

java --module-path %PATH_TO_FX% --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.fxml Shakkipeli.Main

• linux

java --module-path $PATH_TO_FX --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.fxml Shakkipeli.Main
