To Do

  • Refactoring code and Optimize logic
  • Add Ncurses
  • Create an executable gem
  • Take input from user instead of random cells
  • Add predefined cells like Glider, Gun, Blink, Box
  • Command line arguments
  • Unit tests
  • Zero player (random)
  • Multiplayer support(LAN, Internet)
  • Different colors of cells

Rules

  • Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if by needs caused by underpopulation.
  • Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.
  • Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives, unchanged, to the next generation.
  • Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell.
