WalkthroughThe pull request introduces a new helper function that handles file and directory copying within the remote file copy command. The new function centralizes the logic used to check for existing destination files and directories, while managing options such as overwrite or merge. In the updated implementation, a conditional check determines whether the source is a directory; if so, the code traverses the directory tree and applies the file copy logic to each encountered file. The existing approach, which relied on directly renaming files using system calls, has been replaced with recursive file traversal for directory handling. Additionally, error handling has been revised to check file and directory states more explicitly, providing specific error messages based on the encountered conditions. Thank you for using CodeRabbit. We offer it for free to the OSS community and would appreciate your support in helping us grow. I was dumb and used
os.Rename
for copy on the same WSH remote. This change makes it a proper copy, with recursion if needed.
