Before getting started with EasyHadoop, make sure you have the following requirements:
- Kali Linux / Ubuntu 20.04 installed on your machine / cloud
- Internet connectivity to download necessary packages
- Basic knowledge of Hadoop and its components
To install EasyHadoop, follow these simple steps:
- Clone this repository to your local machine using the following command:
git clone https://github.com/whoami-anoint/EasyHadoop.git
- Change into the EasyHadoop directory:
cd EasyHadoop
- Change the permissions of a file
easyhadoop.sh
to make it executable:
chmod +x easyhadoop.sh
- Run the installation script:
./easyhadoop.sh
Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:9870 or you can also use EC2 DNS public IP to access the Hadoop NameNode web interface.
