⚠️ Important: Run as Administrator for full functionality
- Download the latest installer from Releases
- Run
xZenith_x.x.x_x64-setup.exe - Follow the installation wizard
- Launch xZenith from Start Menu
- Right-click > Run as Administrator for full features
See INSTALLATION.md for detailed installation instructions.
Why does it need Administrator privileges?
xZenith requires admin access to:
- Read hardware sensors (CPU/GPU temperatures)
- Apply system tweaks and optimizations
- Manage system restore points
- Execute system utilities (SFC, DISM)
Hardware data not showing?
- Ensure you're running as Administrator
- Check if your hardware is supported
- Some laptop sensors may be limited by manufacturer restrictions
- First launch may take longer while initializing hardware detection
Discord RPC not working?
- Ensure Discord is running
- Enable Rich Presence in Settings
- Restart both applications
Is my data collected?
No. xZenith runs entirely offline and does not collect or transmit any user data.
xZenith Cast not working?
- Ensure USB debugging is enabled on your Android device
- Check that your device is properly connected
How to uninstall?
- Windows Settings > Apps > xZenith > Uninstall
- Or run the uninstaller from Start Menu
Why do I need to disable Core Isolation / Memory Integrity?
xZenith uses PawnIO kernel driver to access hardware sensors (CPU/GPU temperatures, voltages, etc.). Windows Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) blocks unsigned kernel drivers from loading.
To disable Core Isolation:
- Open Windows Security > Device Security
- Click Core isolation details
- Turn off Memory integrity
- Restart your PC
⚠️ Note: Disabling Memory Integrity slightly reduces security but is required for hardware monitoring applications that use kernel drivers. Many hardware monitoring tools (HWiNFO, AIDA64, etc.) have the same requirement.
