This doesn't remove any of the async dependencies, yet. This is so we can quickly back off the changes. Once the new daemon has been published to customers, all the async dependencies can be dropped. Signed-off-by: Pau Ruiz Safont <pau.ruizsafont@cloud.com>

Also removes the dependency on python2, which was removed some months ago
