Heritage Memory

Heritage Memory is an iOS application that uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology to showcase elements of traditional Chinese culture, focusing on the 24 Solar Terms and the Chinese Zodiac.

Features

• AR Zodiac Masks: Users can "wear" AR masks based on Chinese zodiac animals (Ox, Dragon, Sheep, Monkey, Pig)
• AR Solar Term Cards: Interactive AR experiences for the 24 Solar Terms including Beginning of Spring, Rain Water, Awakening of Insects, Spring Equinox, Pure Brightness, and Grain Rain
• Photo Sharing: Capture and share your AR experiences through social media or save them locally
• Intuitive UI: Clean and beautiful SwiftUI interface with traditional Chinese design elements

Requirements

• iOS 14.0+
• Xcode 12.0+
• Device supporting ARKit

Installation

1. Clone or download the project to your local machine
2. Open Heritage Memory.xcodeproj in Xcode
3. Connect a compatible iOS device or use a simulator
4. Build and run the project

How to Use

1. Open the app and choose between "AR Masks" or "AR Cards" from the main menu
2. For AR Masks: Select a zodiac animal and use the front camera to have the mask mapped onto your face
3. For AR Cards: Point the camera at the corresponding card to see the AR content appear
4. Use the camera button to take photos and share them
