Which .zip do I download?

Installing (if you are installing for the first time)

  1. Make sure that Beat Saber is not running.
  2. Extract the contents of the zip into Beat Saber's installation folder.
    For Oculus Home: \Oculus Apps\Software\hyperbolic-magnetism-beat-saber\
    For Steam: \steamapps\common\Beat Saber\
    (The folder that contains Beat Saber.exe)
  3. Drag Beat Saber.exe on top of IPA.exe. < NOT the IPA folder, but the executable IPA.exe.
  4. Done! You've installed IPA-Reloaded and the SongLoaderPlugin.

Updating (if you are updating an existing installation)

  1. Make sure that Beat Saber is not running.
  2. Extract the contents of the zip into Beat Saber's installation folder.
    For Oculus Home: \Oculus Apps\Software\hyperbolic-magnetism-beat-saber\
    For Steam: \steamapps\common\Beat Saber\
    (The folder that contains Beat Saber.exe)
  3. Done! You've installed SongLoaderPlugin.

After installing, Beat Saber's installation folder should look something like this:

CustomSongs
  > New Dawn
IPA
Plugins
  > SongLoaderPlugin.dll
Beat Saber (Patch & Launch)
Beat Saber.exe
IPA.exe
Mono.Cecil.dll
UnityPlayer.dll

You don't have to use the (Patch & Launch) shortcut.
You can launch the game normally through Oculus or Steam.

Now if you go into Solo > Standard, you will see your custom songs at the bottom of the list!

  • Added .zip and .beat support (.beat is just a renamed .zip).
  • Added support for packaged songs in both .zips and regular folders.
  • Improved startup load time significantly.
  • Fixed bug where level difficulty was not correct 100% of the time.
  • Duplicate songs are now handled.
  • Updated the included song New Dawn.
