How does that new if statement behave when checking for updates from the webui? Same code is used.

Because QoS is disabled the WebUI only shows the statement that QoS is disabled. Similar tto the screenshot in the issue. There is no option to update

Only option available is to go to the QoS page to enable at this point in time:
