CMAP CSVM v1.0.0 Release version 1

This first full release version of the CSVM is a complete implementation of the model: model initialization, firm synthesis, all steps of the commercial vehicle touring model (CVTM). and trip tables build step, and includes a dashboard to show scenario results. It includes scenario to scenario comparisons in the dashboard, a complete set of calibration summaries and scripts for input development, estimation, and calibration.

The updates from v0.5.4 are:

• Segmentation of the scheduled stops model into household and non-residential stops
• Recalibration of the base year model based on the change in the scheduled stops model
• Updated base and future year dashboards based on the final calibration and forecast run of the model
• Final organization of data processing, estimation, and calibration scripts

The model:

• Creates outputs databases of firms
• Creates output database of commercial vehicle trips/tours
• Creates trip tables in an OMX file for each combination of vehicle type and time period plus three daily trip tables by vehicle type
• Creates an HTML dashboard

The release is complete except for three skim input files required for each of the base and future scenarios. It requires:

• htruck_congested_skims.omx,
• ltruck_congested_skims.omx, and
• mtruck_congested_skims.omx
  be copied locally into the cmap_csvm\scenarios\base\inputs and the cmap_csvm\scenarios\future\inputs directories in order to run those scenarios.

The model is calibrated and validated. This version is tagged as a full release of the CSVM.

CMAP CSVM v0.5.4 calibrated base, future year, update 4

This release is a complete implementation of the model: model initialization, firm synthesis, all steps of the commercial vehicle touring model (CVTM). and trip tables build step, and includes a dashboard to show scenario results. It includes scenario to scenario comparisons in the dashboard, a complete set of calibration summaries and scripts for input development, estimation, and calibration.

It is a minor update to v0.5.3, with the main changes being:

• Updates to the dashboard to add additional comparisons between scenarios, along with some labeling and adjustments to image files
• Additional testing scripts added to the repository

The model:

This release is a complete implementation of the model: model initialization, firm synthesis, all steps of the commercial vehicle touring model (CVTM). and trip tables build step, and includes a dashboard to show scenario results. It includes scenario to scenario comparisons in the dashboard, a complete set of calibration summaries and scripts for input development, estimation, and calibration.

It is a minor update to v0.5.2, with the main changes being:

Updates to the dashboard to add additional validation summaries and comparisons between scenarios, along with labeling improvements
Additional data processing scripts and minor refinements to validation target development
Added several raw and processed data files and estimation files to the development set up.

It includes scenario to scenario comparisons in the dashboard, a complete set of calibration summaries and scripts for input development, estimation, and calibration.

It is a minor update to v0.5.1, with the main changes being:

• Updates to the scheduled stops model to support scenario tests on distance from business to stop (area serviced by business) and adjustments to travel costs
• Additional instructions on scenario testing in README

• adjustment to the intermediate stop location choice model to avoid clustering off intermediate stops in particular zones with very high employment particularly in the food and drink service industry
• more detail in the batch file to launch the model to support changing scenarios, reference scenario, and model components to run
• instructions on scenario testing in README
• addition of development files related to VMT targets

• updates to the calibration with completed base year calibration
• updates to the dashboard to include additional calibration summaries and validation summaries
• future scenario with updated inputs
• future year dashboard including scenario to scenario comparisons
• scenario parameter adjustment configuration file added to support easy scenario testing

This release is working through model initialization, firm synthesis, all steps of the commercial vehicle touring model (CVTM). and trip tables build step, and includes a dashboard to show scenario results.

It is an update to v0.4.2, with the main changes being:

• updates to the calibration with initial calibration of the tour models in the CVTM (these should still be considered a work in progress as of this release)
• updates to the dashboard to include calibration summaries for the tour models in the CVTM and validation summaries of the trip tables
• added the future scenario with processed household and employment data and confirmed that it runs with those inputs and the future year skims
• future year dashboard added to github pages (link in repo README)
• several other minor bug fixes

It is a minor update to v0.4.1, with the main changes being:

• updates to the calibration with initial calibration and confirmatory checks of firm synthesis and the stops models in the CVTM (these should still be considered a work in progress as of this release)
• updates to the dashboard to include calibration summaries for firm synthesis and the stops models in the CVTM
• change to the installation process to incorporate an executable for pandoc as opposed to requiring separate installation
• several other minor bug fixes
