Biomancy 2 registers new Tags which can be added to items, blocks or mobs using datapacks.

Item Tags

  • biomancy:raw_meats
    Food Items that are made of raw meat. This tag is primarily used by the Primordial Cradle to determine if the food is valid biomass.

  • biomancy:cooked_meats
    Food Items that are made of cooked meat. This tag is primarily used by the Primordial Cradle to determine if the food is invalid biomass.

For Crafting

  • biomancy:claws
  • biomancy:fangs

Primordial Cradle

  • biomancy:cannot_be_eaten_by_cradle (since v2.2.8.0)
    Prevents the item from being consumed & destroyed by the Primordial Cradle.

Block Tags

  • biomancy:primordial_ecosystem_replaceable (removed in v2.3.0.0)
    Blocks that can be replaced with malignant or primal flesh by the spread of malignant flesh veins.

  • biomancy:flesh_replaceable (since v2.3.0.0)
    Blocks that can be destroyed by the flesh mound growth and potentially be replaced with malignant or primal flesh by the spread of malignant flesh veins.

  • biomancy:acid_destructible (since v2.3.0.0)
    Blocks that can be destroy by acid fluid on random tick.

  • biomancy:allow_veins_to_attach (since v2.3.0.0)
    Force allows flesh veins to attach to these blocks. (this is especially useful for blocks with non-sturdy faces or odd collision box shapes, e.g. farmland)

  • biomancy:disallow_veins_to_attach (since v2.3.0.0)
    Blocks that should never be covered with flesh veins.

Entity Type Tags (Mobs)

Despoil Loot (removed since v2.5.0.0)

Important

The following tags have been removed (v2.5.0.0) in favor of vanilla loot tables. Please see Biomancy-2-Despoil-Loot-Tables

Adding a mob to any of the following tags will make them drop the respective despoil loot.

  • biomancy:sharp_fang
    Mobs that would have fangs in real life. For example wolves, foxes, bats, cats, ocealots, bears, etc

  • biomancy:sharp_claw
    Mobs that would have claws in real life. For example wolves, foxes, bats, cats, ocealots, bears, etc

  • biomancy:sinew
    Generic drop for mobs that still have meat on their bones

  • biomancy:bile_gland
    Generic drop for mobs that don't have any specialized glands

  • biomancy:toxin_gland
    Mobs that are toxic to players like Cave Spiders, Pufferfish, Bees, etc

  • biomancy:volatile_gland
    Mobs that are explosive like Creepers, Ghasts, Blazes, Withers, Ender Dragons, etc

  • biomancy:bone_marrow
    Mobs that are mostly made up of bones (skeletons) like Skeleton Horses, Wardens, etc.

The #minecraft:skeletons tag is part of this tag by default.

    Mobs that belong into the wither & skeleton category like Wither Skeletons and the Wither
