Welcome to the Merge Robotics FRC Team 2706 2020-2706-Robot-Code wiki!
This repo contains the robot software (RoboRio software) for the 2020 Infinite Recharge FRC Robot.
The wiki is meant to capture investigation, analysis and software documentation. See template for format needed for the technical binder.
The robot capabilities from our Design Spec that apply to roborio code are:
- Vision assisted alignment of robot to game elements (under 5% err)
- Logging for sensors, results, voltages, current, and statements
- The ability to retrieve logs after a match
- Drive and manipulate game elements autonomously
- Select from multiple autonomous modes
- Live camera feed visible to the drivers with a delay under 1000 ms ** Stretch goal: Under 500 ms
- Use joysticks and/or other controllers to operate the robot
- Ability to manually align the robot to game elements within 5 seconds at 20 ft
- Investigate operator control sensitivity (with the intention to improve performance compared to previous years)
- Driver feedback (e.g. Shuffleboard, haptic (tactile) feedback)
- Bling for signaling and/or prettiness
- Operator control for Arm
- Operator control for Intake
- Operator control for Shooter
- Operator control for Indexer
- Stretch goal: Operator control for Climb
- Stretch goal: Operator control for Control panel Rotation
