In this chapter we will study a differential drive robot kit developed by Chaney Electronics that is driven by two wheels and comes with a breadboard so that you can conduct many experiments. First we will examine its mechanical construction, then we will look at the electronics to perform various tasks. Finally, we will cover some mathematical modeling for advanced concepts for wheeled robots. Figure X.1 shows the completed car kit.
